The Pros and Cons of QR codes

 Pros:

 Easy to use- 
  You just scan them with your phone and you get the information in a jiffy.

 Can be used to several different companies- 
 There are QR codes everywhere you go, on cereal boxes, class disclosures, newspaper ads, and store windows.

Cost effective-
 They don't cost a company any money to make Appeal to mobile users- It is a new fun way to find out information 

 Cons:

Users must have a QR code reader- 
 Although this is just an app that they can download not all people will do it. 

Time-
 It can take a long time for the mobile reader to download the information. 

Knowledge- 
 Not everyone know about QR codes and those that do are the minority. 
 In order for them to be truly effective there needs to be more advertising on what they are and do.
